Solution 3 is setup with a photogoniometer which is controlled by a PC and driven by an electrical motor. The lamp (emitter) is fixed in the centre of the goniometer. The goniometer rotates in the horizontal and the vertical slice to position the detector, which is a photometer and is adjusted directly on the lamp, in the defined positions so that the detector measures the illuminance values depending on the angle. The measurement software calculates the illuminance values into luminous intensity values. The test setup is installed into an extra room.
