In 1935, Bernhard Beumer founded the company as a manufacturing company for conveyor equipment in Beckum. Beumer is an international, independent and privately owned business in its third generation. The chairman and CEO is Dr. Christoph Beumer. In the past few years, the number of employees has increased to 4,500 and the Beumer Group achieved an annual turnover of 950 million euros.The Beumer Group is currently one of the leading manufacturers in the areas of conveying and loading technology, palletising and packaging technology as well as sortation and distribution systems. The company operates worldwide with 85% of the products being sold internationally.
